The quintessential Australian country pub. I have been a frequent visitor since 1995. It's had its high's and lows but I still come back. It's sort of like a comfortable pair of jeans.
Great eat food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. No poker machines, no gambling. Guests talking to each other. The way a pub should be. Awesome!
Griffen Dunne got a warmer reception at The Slaughtered Lamb. Monosyllabic chat bordering on hostility, it makes you wonder what dark secrets this town harbours when theyre so keen for the passing trade to pass through. Its probably not werewolves, that would at least be vaguely interesting. Pub food . Salad drowned in dressing.
Always get a really great feed here, just the right amount of variety, good service, friendly staff. Good old fashioned pub!
